We really like Chauncey. Over the past year, we’ve mentioned this label on various blogs, usually within the context of brilliant, well-designed basics. The brainchild of designer Nathalie Bouhana and photographer David Sdika, Chauncey is based in Belgium and focuses on knitwear steeped in luxury, precision, minimalism and crafstmanship without eccentricity. From season to season, Chauncey offers effortless transition, with tissue weight jersey and broadcloth for SS and variable density and texture for warm AW classics. Each season’s collection is photographed on the same model, which underscores the timelessness. Have a look at the AW10 collection at Fashionisto and Coûte. Visit the Chauncey website (above) for a view of previous collections.
