Designer Alexander McQueen was found dead in his own home this morning in London. He was 40, and his mother had just passed away. McQueen hanged himself. Even though it’s across the sea and it’s “celebrity” news, his death is a devastating and tragic loss, as was the suicide of his mentor and friend Isabella Blow in 2007. Blow and McQueen will forever be linked, now even more so. This news is completely heartbreaking.
